What is the Property Profile?
The Property Profile is the central view for a single property address. It brings together every record from every module tied to that address, along with ownership and tax information, attachments, and notes. Any signed-in GovPilot user can open it. Some actions on it depend on your permissions.
How to open a Property Profile
- Use the Global Search bar at the top left to search by address, block and lot, or asset name.
- Or click the property card icon wherever it appears, including the Data Viewer, a record, or the Recent Records area.

What you see at the top
The top section shows the property address, block and lot, owner name, a Google Maps photo when one is available, and tax assessment details. From here you can also:
- Generate AVM to produce an automated property valuation.
- View on GIS Map to open the map centered on this parcel.
- View Tax Map to open the tax map, if your account has one.
- Hide Address from Public View to keep this property off the public GIS map.
- Click the heart icon to Add or Remove Favorites. Favorited properties are available from the left navigation bar.
Units
Click the Units dropdown to see any units associated with the property, such as apartments. Adding or editing units requires the Manage Parcel Units permission.
All Records tab
The All Records tab in the lower left lists every record for this property across all modules, grouped by module and sorted by date. Click the form icon next to a record to open it. Sections collapse and expand, and the column filter boxes let you narrow the list.

Attachments tab
Upload and manage files that belong to the property itself, such as photos and documents. Supported formats include jpg, png, pdf, docx, xlsx, and more. Each attachment can have a description. Click a file name to view it, or click Remove to delete it.
Notes tab
Internal notes tied to the property. Each note shows the date, author, and text. Click + Add to add a note, or - Remove to delete one.
✅ Pro Tip: Attachments and notes on the Property Profile belong to the address, not to any one record. They are visible no matter which module you are working in. Notes and attachments for a specific permit, license, or concern are stored inside that record instead.
