How do I view and manage units at a property address?

Access, add, or remove units associated with a property address.

GovPilot allows you to easily view, manage, add, or remove individual units linked to a property address. This feature is helpful for multifamily properties, apartment complexes, or condos where multiple units exist under one address.

Steps to View and Manage Units

  1. Open the Property Profile of the address you want to manage. You can do this by:

    • Using the Property Address search on the Home page.

    • Clicking the property card from your Recent Records area on the Home page.

    • Clicking the property card in the Property column within the Data Viewer.

  2. On the Property Profile, click the drop-down arrow next to Units to expand the section and see existing units.

  3. Each unit entry includes Unit Number, Owner/Resident, and Unit Address.

  4. To add a new unit:

    • 1. Click Add Unit.

    • 2. Fill out the required fields: Unit Number, Owner/Tenant, Address (AKA) if applicable.

    • 3. Click Save.

  5. To view unit details, click the Select icon next to the unit you wish to view.

  6. While viewing a unit:

    • Confirm the unit # at the top.

    • To edit unit details, select the unit, click Edit, update the details, and click Save.

    • To remove a unit, click the Delete icon next to the unit, then confirm your choice. This action cannot be undone.

  7. To return to the Property Profile of the main address, click the hyperlinked address at the top of the units view.
