How do I combine multiple PDF Attachments into one document?

Select and merge multiple PDF files from the Attachments tab into a single downloadable file.

If a record includes multiple PDF attachments — like construction plans submitted in parts — you can combine just the files you need into one PDF for easier sharing, printing, or review.

This is helpful when:

  • Documents were submitted as separate PDFs

  • You only need to send part of the documentation

  • You want to consolidate multiple uploads into a single file

How to merge selected PDF attachments:

  1. Open the record and go to the Attachments tab.

  2. Use the checkboxes to select the PDF files you want to combine.

  3. Click the Combine PDF Documents button.

  4. A single merged PDF of the selected files will download to your computer.

Pro Tip: Files are merged in the order they appear in the grid. You can rename the Attachment Name (e.g., “Plans 1,” “Plans 2”) and then sort by the Attachment Name column to control the merge order.

Note: The Combine PDF Documents button only enables if all selected files are PDFs. If any selected files are not PDFs, the button will be disabled.
