How do I clear my browser cache? (Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge)
Clear your browser cache to resolve loading issues, display errors, or to refresh system after recent updates.
Sometimes, after system updates or changes, your browser may continue to show outdated information or formatting errors. Clearing your cache ensures that your browser loads the most recent version of a site.
💡 Why this matters:
GovPilot occasionally performs Quick Publishes (QPs)—these are behind-the-scenes updates to improve functionality, fix bugs, or deploy enhancements. To see these changes correctly, your browser may need to clear out old stored files (cached data).
When to Clear Your Cache:
- If a page isn’t loading properly or looks outdated
- When you encounter display issues, glitches, or unexpected behavior
- After a Quick Publish (QP) update to GovPilot
