How do I assign a user full access to every module?
Grant a user access to all available modules in your GovPilot account.
Administrators can grant a user full access to all available modules in the account. This allows the user to view and work in every module, without needing to assign them individually. This option is typically used for users in system-wide roles such as directors, administrators, or IT leads.
Steps to assign full access:
-
From the Home Page, click the gear icon to open Account Settings.
-
In the left-hand menu, click User Role Management.
-
Click the User Management tab.
-
Locate the user and click their blue highlighted email address to open their User Details.
-
In the Role Information section, check the box labeled Full Access to All Modules.
-
Click Save to confirm the change.
🚨A word of caution:
Giving a user full access means they can view and manage records across every module in the account. This should only be granted to trusted users who need broad access to do their job effectively. It's a good practice to periodically review which users have full access to ensure it still aligns with their responsibilities and your organization’s internal policies.
